Flight of the Bumble Bees - July 2009     

    

FOBB is an annual event by the Adventure Radio Society .  Our operating location this year was Pine Ridge Camp Ground in Callaway County, MO near Guthrie.  Also joining me were K9ZTV, W0ESE, K0EMT and W4RK.  We decided this was a great site for portable QRP operating; lots of tall pine trees (antenna supports!) and plenty of space.  Here are a couple views:
