What in the world is a PET?
PET stands for "Propagation Effect
Transistor". It is only in the conceptual/experimental
stage at this time.
A PET is similar to an enhancement
mode N Channel MOSFET. You will notice it has an additional terminal
called
"A". This is an
integrated connection for a 50 ohm antenna. This will allow direct
connection of the antenna right into
the appropriate rf stage.
Once I
have perfected this design, it will significantly reduce the parts count
of many types of rf equipment.
