QRP  Radio Pages

I have been a Amateur Radio Operator since 1990 and hold a General class license. One of these days I need to upgrade to Extra Class but for now I am having fun doing CW.

My old Elmer Kennie NU0Z [nowSK] came to the farm in 1991 and took my mic away saying "You are going to be a CW operator". Well long story short. He never gave my mic back and I have been a CW operator since.

I have built some Small Wonder Labs kits and enjoy operating them portable.  I have built some tuner kits by Hendricks QRP kits and use them in the field with various antennas. I have added a OHR 400 to the shack , it needs a little alignment but works well on 40 and I have made a few contacts with it .

I have recently built a ATS IIIB and  a TUT 80 and love operating both of them.
